ARF kit
Has any one seen a ARF of an airplane that looked similar to either of these two.
O OO OOO OOO OOO OOO OOO OOO _________ OOO OOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOO OOO OOO OOO OOO OO OO OO OOOOO OOOOOO OOOOOOO O OO OOO OOO OOO OOO OOO _______ OOO OOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOO OOO OOO OOO OOO OOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOO Note: The pictures are not remotely to scale. Note: The pictures only present half of the symetrical airplane. The first is a sort of bomber. Usually has four engines but I can't aford that in my budget ;) and ive seen versions with just 2 engines. The second has a tail elevator that extends across the two fuselages. I don't know the names of either of the two If I did I would just post them. But I've seen bothe before and they looked cool so I was wondering if anyone knows of any arfs available of both or either of the two. I don't mind kits either. But I perfer Arfs. Just post a link please. Electrolight |

Your 'pictures' are difficult to analyze. You need to find real photos, or at least line drawings, to get a lot of help. Or, research to find the actual names of the planes.
One twin that has dual boom fuselages with the elevator between them is the P-38 Lightning (left photo). There are kits and ARFs available. Another would be the P-82 Twin Mustang (right photo). There are ARFs available, not sure about kits. |

RE: ARF kit
One thing to add. You need to be an advanced pilot to fly a multi engine plane.

RE: ARF kit
A picture is worth a thousand "O"s.
There are plenty of sites with thousand of aircraft photographs, both RC and full scale. Just do a Google search for "Warplane photos". Good luck |

RE: ARF kit
Thank you all Now Ive figured It out. Sorry about the Os but I didn't have pics and could search for somthing i didn't know the name of... Anyways the two planes were the
C160 Transall and the P38 lightning I saw these at the field, never talked to the pilots so had no clue what the planes were but anyways... How experienced do you need to be to fly multi engine planes. I've only flow 2 different planes so far. and soloed on my tower hobbies trainer. I'm guessing Its probably not enough practice to fly multi engine planes but where would the next step be? Thanks in advance Electrolight Sorry about my broad questions. |
RE: ARF kit
Once you are very good with your trainer, try a H-9 Mustang PTS
It will grow with you as your skills increase and start getting you ready for more advanced models |
RE: ARF kit
There are a few Twin engine planes that are a bit better for the Novice, but you really want to leave this type of plane, until you are proficient with others.
Dealing with an engine out condition is not simple for the novice. |
