+6v rx battery
If you are using a 6 v battery for your receiver pac I was told by a senior club member that you could still use it if it registered 4.8 on the meter--is that correct?

RE: +6v rx battery
NO,
If it registers 4.8V that means you either have a dead cell or almost dead battery and should not use the battery for flight. |
RE: +6v rx battery
you know it just didn't feel right when he said that. When I have a full charge it is somewhere over 7. When it gets to 6.50 I recharge. Does that seem reasonable?

RE: +6v rx battery
The minimum safe voltage per cell is 1.1v, so the lowest the pack should get to is 5.5v. If it's down to 4.8v then there is something wrong with the pack as missleman said above.
