another 2.4 question.

It's been a while since I have last posted, but here Is another question. With the DX7 remote Its advised to get a larger Batt. But is it the same for Futabas FAAST reciever, I think I will buy one this week, also do you need to buy different servos for It.

Thanks, Dave trimmer

Your current type servo's should work fine.

Dave,
Yes, you can use your current servos. I don't think that Futaba has the same problems with low voltage that JR/Spectrum does. But it never hurts to get a bigger battery for your plane.

If you look around you can find Nickel-Metal-Hydride batteries with the same external dimensions as you present batteries with a 1650 mah capacity instead of 500 or 700 mah like the original issue Nickel-cadmium batteries.

Here's one source of 1650 mah packs that are the same size as the standard packs that come with radio systems.

You can use whatever servos are already in the plane and just plug them into the FASST RX. If you are asking if the servos that come with the system are OK for your plane we don't know because we don't know what plane it is.

I have a few NIMH batts. but I was just curious if the serevo connectors are the same for the new faast rec. as I have already found out in this post.
