Trainer Package
 

Superstar monokote version is fairly good.
The radio in the package deal is a decent basic 4-channel. It will serve well for several years.
The engine normally in the package is the LA .40, and is a decent, reliable engine. Not top of the line, but it'll work for the trainer and probably get put in 3 or 4 other planes before you're through with it.
Not a bad deal... normal street prce is $320 to $350 depending on if they are having a sale.

I've not seen the H-9 Alpha.

If no engine in the deal.. look at Thunder Tiger Pro series or Magnum XL series. Best power for the $$$ ;)

Check to see what radios the locals use the most and have a buddy cord for... that may be the deciding factor.
