First Flight

Well, I had my first flight yesterday. So I start it up and its running down the runway and suddenly it startes to wobble. It tilted so bad a whole part of the propeller "Flew" off. (It even hit my foot:eek: ) So need more propellers i guess :(

I learned that lesson too. Now I always have at least 2 extra props with me. Although the last one has made several fights.

Yeah, we all have that kind of annoying stuff happen when we start. I paid more money for props on my trainer than I did for the actual plane. But it all smooths out with time and I haven't broken a prop in 6 months!

Flyer29er,
Are you trying to teach yourself, or are you having an instructor help you? If it did this to your instructor, and he doesn't think he had a dumb thumbs moment, there may be an issue with the airframe that needs to be addressed. Your nose wheel may have way too much throw, causing it to be very twitchy on roll out. I don't know what you mean by "wobble", so I can only guess. If you are going it on your own, then this is just the first of many frustrating moments in your future.

I have had the same problem. I like to balance the prop and also crank them down tight.
