installing skis on a alpha40?
 
i want to know if i can put skis on my plane.

Sure you can. You can just replace your wheels with the standard Dubro snow skis. From what I hear, these work good off of smooth snow or ice, but not as well on powder. A lot of guys just use floats on snow, which work better on powder and handle footprints better.

I am planning on puting skis on my Four Star 40 this winter.

Make sure the prop will clear the nose-wheel ski. I know this from experience.

yeah, i saw that they have some skis but only for the .60 size... and my plane is a .40 So what can i do?

They say they are for up to 60 size planes. They are only about 9" long, you wouldn't want to go any smaller than that anyway. Go ahead and try them.
