need a new wing
 

does anyone know how hard it would be to find a new goldberg eagle wing, and where to get it? I'm lucky thats all I need. I did'nt do a good enough preflight check and my elevator servo screw came loose, and the plane came to a nose dive. The only thing that saved the plane was it landed in a soft field.... I will probably try and rebuild the wing, but this will be my first build/repair so I want to get a new too if I can.... thanks for any help you can give.

You can order a new wing directly from Goldberg. $85 for the entire wing assembly

thanks RCKen.. I was looking for that but could'nt find it........but for that price I think I just buy another plane :D. and see if I can find a wing from someone cheaper.......

Yeah, typically in these cases it almost makes more sense to buy another ARF for $25 more than the bare wing, then you get a spare fuse, tail, landing gear, etc...


Edit - Especially considering how complete these Goldberg ARF's are. I didn't realize that they included wheels, fuel tank, and a lot of other hardware that is usually extra. I would definitely buy the ARF just for the spare parts.

Check around your club and find out who has a foam cutting rig and whip out a foam wing. Use a salvaged rib for the pattern. cut a 40 size ugly stick wing while your at it they are VERY easy to scratch build.
