Warped Ailerons

Putting together my Senior Kated ARF, when I put the servo on the wind, and got the control horn and linkage hooked up, I trimmed the aileron level on the end, well the opposite end (which is toward the center of the wing) is down about 1/8", thus I have a warped aileron. Both ailerons are warped and hinged on.. What now?

Slight warps ain't no thang. Set up the radio so the outward edges are centered and use the trim to correct any problems in the air.

I Agree

This is a trainer and not an F3A Competition Pattern Plane. Concentrate on flying right now, and being more precise the next time. In most parts of the country it's flying season or darn near. Sometimes you can coax the warp by heating and bending in the opposite direction. I'll admit it's much harder with the type of aileron you're working with, but some time and patience, especially with a heat gun may yield small results. Good Luck_bob

Well I did just that and seem to be getting some pretty decent results, but there is still a bow in the center. I sent SIG an email about it, I mean it is a $200 kit.. If they are as good about this, as they were in the past with my LT-40 missing hardware, I think they would make good and send me new stuff..
