will... did you get the thing in there right ?
If you leave too much of a gap....for a kadet it's not going to be that bad.
Too much or the hinges bunching up in the cracks and it's not going to pivet like
you think it should...maybe they can simulate a fluttering sound into a SIM one of these days.

Hog wash..I've seen CA hinges failed or crack. If seen my control surface break away during flight
due to fluttering.

nitro eats at CA...The last I checked I get nitro all over me model.
I build me model to fly thur gallons and gallons of nitro .

Just a thought...if you make the hinge slot thicker than the hinge... there going to be space or gaps between
the wood and the hinge.
Thin CA is not going to make up for that space.lol
Dimple spots by me compressing the wood to meet the hinge on my 4* i can live with.
But I build scales models too...go through the trouble of carving and sanding..then I'm going to make
dimples on my wings...I don't think so.lol

Okay..so you drill in a pin, dowl or tooth pick to hold it place.
The question or decision for a newbie then..do you do it before covering or after covering ?:D

Why of course there's gaps..how in the heck you do think I'm going to be able to seal the hinge line with
mono coat ???lol

mmm monocoat are not designed to be hinges.lol

yes install them then yank the heck out it. better to put the control surfaces out by hand
