Proper throttle setting for SuperstarEP

Hi All,
Finally almost ready for my first flight (this weekend if the weather and my lousy cold permit)!
The one remaining question that I have is concerning the low end throttle adjustment.
The airplane has ESC with BEC and I am using an Airborne 4CH radio. The radio has Throttle end point adjustment but I dont know where to set the idle speed? Should the motor be fully "off" or at slow idle when setting the low end point.
Seems like a simple thing but not to a newbie who has never had one before?
Most other engine types are always running at idle?
Thanks for the help,
Wayne

With electric it should be fully off at low stick.

Don't know if it really matters with elec. where the end points are on the throttle. But for sure you want it off completley when in the idle position. Never mess with the end points on my elec. for throttle.

with my electrics I set endpoints at +100 -100. then setup so the motor is totally dead when the stick
is in the idle position. Then I give it a few more clicks of down throttle trim so I have a very small
dead band near idle so that if I bump the stick up a few clicks it doesn't start spiniing.
