Nice Electric Backyard Bipe

I want a nice electric biplane to fly in my backyard. Obviously a foamie. Something good for hovering and really good 3D, because i dont have much room to do really flying around. I want to keep this as low cost as possible. I do have a charger http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id...60&pid=U867328 , so the battery will need to work with that. I can make a pigtail, so I can use dean plugs. I need you all to tell me everything I need to get a flying plane (minus radio and charger). That includes battery, kit, motor, connectors. I've never had an electric plane, so Im gonna really need help getting everything. And just so you know, I have already soloed with a Nitro trainer as well as done complete circuits inverted and as much of a knife edge as a trainer can do, so while im a beginner, I understand how to fly. Thanks alot.

P.S. I will looking around towerhobbies myself too to see if i like anything, but i dont know much about electrics, so im really not sure what to look for.

One of [link=http://www.acesim.com/rc/ctc/]these[/link]might suite your needs. I have flow one my buddy owns in a gym and they fly pretty good. Also nearly indestructable. It can be bought as a complete package with all the goodies. All you need to do is put it together.

I've flown the Thunder Tiger Christen Eagle EP Profile both indoors and out:

This airplane is very quick building and highly aerobatic, but can be slowed down and flown quite gently as well. I flew mine with the included speed 370 brushed motor, which is quite powerful and durable. I used an Electrifly C-12 speed controller and a 3S 640Mah LiPo pack along with a GWS Pico 4 receiver and 3 GWS Pico servos.

The Thunder Tiger Christen Eagle EP Profile is available for $49.99 from the folks at thundertiger4u.com:

Any hobby store that resells Ace or Thunder Tiger should be able to order one right up for you. It's part number TTR4318, and Thunder Tiger offers a complete selection of replacement parts as well.

This is a high quality, inexpensive 3D foamy biplane that can be flown mild or wild with either the stock motor or a brushless upgrade. It's very easy to assemble and flies great.

Good luck and good shopping!
