pilot error???

After many successful flights yesterday, I wanted to fly today. unfortunately the wind was a little strong. but aginst my better judgement I decided to fly anyway. that turned out to be a mistake. as I throttled up the plane for take off a big gust of wind hit, instead of cutting the throttle I pulled back on the elevator and before I could even process what was happening I watched in horror as my Super Cub leaped into the air rolled starboard and looped directly into the ground. The damage was a smashed cowl and the fuslage broke in two right in front of the tail. needless to say I learned a lesson today about useing a little common sense. really it was a cheap mistake setting me back $ 26.00 and a few hours of repair and set up time. I have everything installed in a new fuselage but I failed to write down the position of the two optical sensors plugs in the control box. anyone with a Hobbyzone Super Cub that can look and tell me which sensor is plugged in the starboard side and which is in the port side and which way the polarity is?

Yeah, I did the same thing with the plugs on mine. I just left them unplugged and it flies fine. Never used the act anyhow.

ive broke my fuselodge 3 times and glued it right back, if its not hurt too bad you should try it with some foam safe ca it works great! good luck!

Hang on to the broken fuselage. Hot glue or foam CA works just fine.

I would have done that but unfortunatly I learned the hard way that Super Glue eats foam.

There is CA designed to work with foam

Always test on an unimportant area first though.
