First flight Today!!
 

Absolutely beautiful day today. 2mph wind (great for beginner like me)
Can't tell you how much fun I had even being on a buddy box(thank god):)
The guys at DVRC in Pittsburg CA were all great guys and welcomed me to the club.

Just wanted to rave at the great time I had today. I'm hooked:D

ps: the G4 sim that I practiced with made a huge difference and recomend highly any sim to get you started.

Yep, another one just found the part of this hobby is more adictive than crack! :D :D

Glad you enjoyed your first flights. The more you fly the more you'll enjoy it. I had had a blast flying today - I went to one of our club fields I've flown at only once before and had the whole field to my self. Lots of fun landing on a 25' or so wide asphalt runway with a 14 mph 90 deg. crosswind flying a basic trainer. You'll be doing the same thing before you know it.

Hey sheograth where do you fly? I live in Lafayette is there an airfeild in or near Berkeley you fly at?

Yea Hogflyer the guys at the club said for me to get my training in now because summer time in Pittsburg
gets real windy 15-25mph wind.[X(] Then they usually go on the hill and fly gliders. Great something else to learn.[&:]
