Brushed break in and Timing

After breaking in my 180 class motor should I time it? I am using a gear box set-up so I want to achieve maximum efficiency while I have it. So how do I go about timing a motor after break in?

RE: Brushed break in and Timing

I would just leave the timing at 0 deg. Unless it is extremely underpowered then i would ramp up the timing but for effincy i would leave it.
