tuff skinning pink polystrene cover material compatable?
Just made a (pink) extruded polystrene pod to mount a Co-pilot.
The foam is so fragile, I'm planning on 'woodpeckering' it with with t pin and putting several coats of Elmer's wood on surface and then covering it with that Monocote trim sheets material. Are there any problems putting that covering over wood glue to foam? Is there a vetter method to firm this stuff up and cover it? I now now that CA and contact cement do not like my samples! :) |

Shouldn't be a problem with the glue or the trim sheets. As long as it's trim sheets, heat won't be a problem. But maybe a little thin balsa sheeting would be better.
