question about the Pulse XT 40.

These are some things I need to know before I maiden it today.
Do I have to glue anything on the wings, or do I just slide them together.d

Just make damned sure you do a good pre-flight. Check hinges, make sure your linkages are connected and secured with a small piece of fuel tubing over the clevis's, and make sure that the ailerons and elevator go in the right direction!!!! Very important.

Break in the engine, and be very careful with easy movements until you are in trim... hands off straight and level.

Best of luck!!

The directions did say it was a 2 piece wing, so it looks good. I will really be sure to check everything.;)

Another good idea is to go through all your linkages after installing the RX. Set all the control
surfaces to neutral with the TX trim at it's neutral point. There is nothing worse during a maiden than
to be in the middle of trimming and find out you've run out of adjustment on the TX, and have to
land while compensating for an out of trim plane. This can happen regardless if the trims are neutral
but you have more of a chance of an easier maiden it the linkages are properly set.

Also check to see that the throws are set where the manufaturer reccomends, maiden at the low rate setting.

CHECK the CG!!!!!

GOOD luck and have a blast.

To answer your question, just slide them together. It does not get glued. Makes it easier for transportation. If you mounted your engine sideways, you will probably want to put an exhaust deflector on it. If not, the oil will work it's way to the mounting bolt plate. Not good. Make sure all your controls are moving the correct direction. Double check your CG. It makes a big difference the way it flys, especially landings, if it's only a little off. Have fun. I have the ARF, and it is a blast to fly.
