HELP!!! on elevon mixing

I am trying to set the elevon mixing on my foamie. I have a Futaba 6exap that allows me to do that. Here is the problem----following instructions on page 17 of the manual. When I move the elevator stick that works OK when I move the aileron stick it is backwards. If I reverse channel one then the elevator works like the aileron. I can't seem to get both to work in the direction that they are suppose to. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Switch the two servo leads at the RX. I had the same thing happen to me. If you change the servo leads, you should be able to get what you need by reversing a channel or two.

I think that took care of it. The servos are not plugged into the slots that the instructions call for. But Hurray!!! it is working
