RE: 4-channel trainer
get a park zone t-28 trojan DB! You will not be un happy with that bird. Pull the trigger and get one in the air

RE: 4-channel trainer
I''ve put together a list of planes that make good trainers and second planes. All of them on the list are proven planes that are well suited for successfully letting students learn to fly, or advance to a second plane. Check out the list here

RE: 4-channel trainer
If you''ll look at ARF them maybe the Multiplex MiniMag which I had and flew for a few months after the SC or possibly their Gemini although that is another step up and would depend on how confident you are.
I''ve also just flown someone''s T 28 an hour ago which a lot or people recommend and could be a good alternative as it''s quite tame. Personally I prefer the MiniMag as I think it''ll be more durable than the T 28 and whilst the throws could obviously be increased and the CofG moved back even on high rates I was struggling to get the T 28 to role at all although initially that''s what would help make it a good aileron trainer !!!!! |
