DX6I installed!!!!!!!!
no more 3 radios at the airfield:D I finally got a DX6I and installed an AR6200 RX in my Magister, and an AR6100e in my Stryker. still need to get another one for my T-28. I plan on running another AR6100e in the T-28. I like this radio so much better then the Hitech lazer 4 that came with the magister! the build in flight timer is cool!!!:D

RE: DX6I installed!!!!!!!!
That's probably why most on these forums suggest you start out with a computer radio vs. a basic radio. While a basic 4ch radio will fly 95% of the model aircraft out there, you will likely outgrow it quickly.
I started out with a computer controlled Futaba 6XA Super but it only has a 6 model memory and lacks the mixing I needed to set up a 7 servo UltraStick 40. I had to buy a Futaba 9CA Super for that, then got my son a Spektrum DX7 for his Mini UltraStick (which I crashed for him last weekend). Now I'm seriously considering the JR X9303 2.4gHtz system, figuring that should hold me for a good 5 years or so (yeah, right...) :D I could get a 2.4gHtz module for the 9C but then I'd have an antenna sticking out the backside of the TX. |
