Is this a good plane for fun flys and gentle relaxing flying?

I have friend that has the first version. Good flyer, has a Magnum .52 4 stroke on it. we call it the trash can because when it lands it sounds like someone kicked over a metal trash can! We think it is the spoked wheels it comes with.
