wing bolts
 

can anyone tell me where i can order wing bolts like that are on a pulse 40 that have the twist grips on the top that you can screw down by hand i see that hangar 9 has them but you can only buy 2 sets at a time and i need different sizes for different sized planes

try Lowes they stock nylon bolts...don't know if they have the kind that tightens by hand..throw a screw driver in the field box

While they're not a true "thumbscrew", look at the 1/4x20 nylon socket head screws at Microfasteners.com. The head is big enough to turn by hand, you can also use a ball driver/allen wrench to really snug 'em down, and they've got both 2" and 3" lengths. They're also cheap... $3.50 plus shipping for 50 of the 2"ers. If you need to make them shorter, just use a cut off wheel to cut them to desired length.

i was really wanting the thumb screw type in different sizes but i cant seem to find them anywhere!!
