Good beginner- intermediate RTF Plane?

Hi, my first plane was a CC Lee Biplane that was very underpowered, although it controlled nicely. I now want to move on from that plane and get a good beginner- intermediate plane for my birthday soon. I definitely want the plane to be RTF, a realistic looking plane and less than £140 ( 280 dollars )
My first thoughts were
- Hobbyzone Super Cub
- Parkzone Super Decathlon
- CC Lee C130 Hercules
- Parkzone Spitfire
- Parkzone Mustang
- Kyosho J3 Cub
Ant thoughts about these planes and any more ideas?
Thanks

Of the planes you have listed, I have only flown the Super Cub and it's very nice. here's a review of it with video

I agree, the Super Cub would be the best choice. Another interesting plane is coming out from E-flite. It is slightly higher price than you are looking for but not by much.

If you want to stick with electric foamies after you graduate from the trainer, look at the Parkzone T-28. it is an excellent low wing sport plane.

What about a Pulse XT 40, that was mine. Nice flying plane and a very easy ARF kit. I learned on a Twist, what a great plane. i will definitely build another one when I get the $...

You don't say how long you've had and how much you've flown the CC Lee ????
Most of the ones you've mention are 3 channel again if you're looking for advancement would have thought the Super Cub's only going to be fairly similar.
What about a Multiplex MiniMag, if you want you can set it up as 3 channel initially and then connect the ailerons when you feel confident but it would cost you a bit more.
