It's not a great deal, OK maybe. It's a discontinued model. Essentially you'd be getting a free cord, that's about it. Don't forget about shipping costs. Here's a link to the new model:

This doesn't come with a cord (I don't think). But since (from what I remember) you still need to buy a radio, you can tack this on to your order (saving the shipping costs) and get a cord for $12, and get them all from a reputable retailer with great customer service.

You're right - it's not such a great deal after you add the 10 bucks for shipping. How do you know it's an old model and what's the difference?
