Is this a good plane to buy?
Im a beginner in RC aircraft, and want to get into the hobby. i have seen this aircraft: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...&category=1200
For sale. i want to know if this would be a good beginners plane, as i have looked around and not found any real reviews on it. Also, what kind of extra weight can an aircraft such as this take? any feedback would be appreciated, Sergei |

The only problem with this type of setup, is that you will outgrow the radio in no time flat. It has two sticks, but they only move in one direction each (1 goes forward and back and the other goes side to side) What many of us consider to be a BASIC radio has 4 channels (that one has only 3) and each stick moves in all directions.
So if you get this, and decide to stick with the hobby, you will need to update your radio soon, and as soon as you update, you'll have to learn all over again, because the sticks are different. |

By then you'll know why we keep them light. If you can get a SoarStar, and buy a conventional radio recommended by your local flyers, you will have a plane you can learn on, and a radio to last you through a few more planes. Good luck, Dave Olson |
