JR Charging Jack installation
I have my first JR radio, and installed the charging jack on my fuse the only way I could see it being attached. But when I try to plug in the charger, the charger plug pushes the battery lead backwards (past the snapping retainer) and into the fuse. How have I messed this up? The snap retainer does work, and I have checked to make sure I am inserting the charger lead in with the correct orientation. But the snapper(?) lets go because the two leads do not seem to match up inside the fuse mounted jack. They work fine if I'm not using the jack (plugging them together directly). :( Thanx for any help, Dzl

JR Charging Jack installation
I had the same problem, I have since changed to using the heavy duty JR switch with the built in charging plug.....works really great and very easy to charge with the wing on.

I also had this happen to me... I flipped the lead over and it fit.
(when you plug it in to the charger the contacts should face up) Hope this helps, |
