Need some info on fuel and engine,... oddball
 

Hi all
I just picked up a Tartan Twin 77 50cc glow engine.
I understand that it takes 0% nitro fuel, so I am mixing my own
I make fuel for it for about 5 bucks a gall. Methanol Isnt easy to get though so Is there a methanol substitute like any of the paint solvents or naptha, denatured alcahol, laquer thinner? something that i can use when I have to wait for Methanol?


Also about the engine? Who knows hat prop this engine needs? mabey an online owners manual for this engine, depicts of tuning method and whatnot?

You can get alcohol from auto speed shops, go kart shops and at one point I found A cleaning supply shop that was getting the same brand of methanol I was getting and it cost A lot less.

there is no other local source for me other than the chem supply, and i dont have room nor want that much homebrew fuel sitting around'
so can any other solvent/ alcahol be subbed for methanol>?? denatured alachol i would think but anyone know for sure?
