Radio Help
I fly with JR equipment, tx,rx and servos, all on chn 40. What is the deal with trying to find a crystal? Every place I look online and LHS withen 200 miles are sold out of the crystal. I looked on Horizan Hobby today and they said the crystal was out of production. I would have posted this on the JR forum but its closed. Can I buy that spektrum radio modual to my JR 600 radio so I dont have to worry about freqs?

Runt:
Sorry about the channel 40 problem, don't have any information on that situation. But I can tell you that the JR600 is not convertible to 2.4. [&o] Happy Landings! |

Exactly what crystal do you need?
Channel 40 is 72.590 mhz. I searched Horizon for 72.590 under JR radio parts http://searchrc.horizonhobby.com/ind...demandrank%7c1 They have 4 items listed as available to order FM Receiver Crystal FM Crystal Set FM Transmitter Crystal FM Dual Conversion Receiver Crystal To answer the question about using a Spektrum module in your transmitter, you need to list the exact transmitter that you have. If the transmitter has a large removeable frequency module in the back, you probably can do it. If it has a regular crystal in the back, or front, you cannot use a Spektrum module in it. |
RE: Radio Help
I was trying to put a Hitec 5 chn RX in a foam plane. The RX takes a single conversion crystal that is what I can not find. Maybe I will start to consider getting a spektum!
