Telemaster 40 Rates?
 

I have built a Telemaster 40 and am powering it with an OS 46AX. Any suggestion on the rates for aileron, elevator, and rudder. Also, any recommendations on a prop size. The build directions don't give me any guidance in these areas. Thanks for your help.

From my experience the 46 AX likes best 11x5 and 11x6 props, other sizes work well too.
it also turns 11x7 but i think it was too fast, no need for a slow airplane.

Since you ask about rates I have to assume you're referring to dual rates? Otherwise perhaps you mean amount of throw,travel adjustment. If it's dual rates you're asking that is not a critical adjustment and can only be set bye guessing and flying. The total travel is generally given on the plans. This is a very gentle aircraft and if you don't feel capable of maiden flight let someone that is do so and any adjustments will be evident.
