Advice for a new build

1 Attachment(s)
I had bought a JR transmitter and some micro servos for a GWS E-starter beginner plane and needles to say I crashed that plane one ot many times and had ot throw it away. I did keep all the electronics and was wondering if there was a good kit that I could use al of these parts in. I still have the motor, props, micro servos, and ESC (GWS 15amp) Thanks for your advice.

Here are some pics of what I have

Grim,
If you aren't concerned about building, you may want to check out the GP Tutor. I built one and switched over the recommended motor and gearbox from Electrifly to GWS (the 350CC with a 9x7 prop) and I am pretty happy with it now. I may also recommend the slow stick from GWS, but I don't have experience, I have just heard many good reviews on it. It would most likely build faster and be cheaper than the tutor. May also be more tolerant of crashing. I have put my tutor through the paces and have beefed up quite a few areas of the plane. Good luck and have fun,
Curtis

Great Planes makes a Yard Stik for about $50 that's a 3 channel and looks like it would be alot of fun in your backyard! it's also got a 41" wingspan so you can darn sure SEE it for a while!

Just a word of advice for you. Looking at the pix you sent I see that the motor and ESC are brushed, not brushless. Therefore that will restrict you to what is useable. Just be sure to realize this and decide accordingly.
