tm-8 module blinking green

Hi, I cant seem to find this on the forum. The TM-8 module on the transmitter is blinking Green. It is suppose to be solid green or blinking green?

I think the blinking green is OKAY and it just means that the fail safe is enabled, if I disable the failsafe it will be a solid green... Is this correct?

I just want to make sure before I fly tomorow morning.

Thank you in advance.

So far, 11 hits on your question but no replies. Perhaps the reason is that many of the readers don't know what the tm-8 module is or what it is on.

Try a little clarification and maybe you will get a reply.

Also, see my post on acronyms and abbreviations.

Same thought here... what's a TM-8 module, who manufacturers it, who sells it, please provide a link to a web page that tells us about it.

The Futaba TM-8 module is a 8 channel FASST module to go into some futaba transmitters to give them FASST capability.

It means RF power is on.

This is from page 4 of the TM-8 user manual and page 2 has a led status chart:

"Range Check the Radio
It is extremely important to range check your models prior to
is functioning as it should and to obtain maximum enjoyment
from your time flying. The TM-8 transmitter module
incorporates a system that reduces its power output and allows
you to perform such a range check.
1 Turn on the transmitter.
2 After the radio frequency link has been established
(as indicated by either a solid green LED or a
blinking green LED, press and hold the "F/S, Range"
switch located on the rear of the TM-8 transmitter module.
As indicated by the blinking red LED, the radio frequency
power has been reduced to allow for the range check.

The TM-8 manual can be downoaded at:
