Prop for Alpha 40/Evolution Trainer Engine

I need to replace the prop. on my Alpha 40 (Evolution Trainer System Engine). I want to go with a standard 2 blade prop. I'm looking for opinions on the size. I was told a 10 X 5. I currently have a 10 X 6 (wood) Top Flite Power Point. Any other opinions?

Thanks,
Bob

I found that engine to run great on a 10x7, 11x6 and 11x7

Yup as MinnFlyer says.

I find that the best compromise is the 11x6.

The 11x7 will bog down a bit.

The 10x7 gives good speed, but lower thrust.

The 11x6 will not permit the plane to prop hang, but it does give it plenty of power.

I use 11x6 APCs on mine and they work great.
