i have a sky fly 2, i am looking for a second park flyer that i can do more with. i am leaning towards the multiplex mini mag i saw on the internet. does anybody have any experience with them? is this a good choice? or would you recomend another plane.

I haven't flown the Mini Mag personally, but Multiplex electric ARFs and RTFs have a very solid reputation across the board and I'd be very surprised if you weren't happy with the Mini Mag. The user feedback here at RCU has certainly been positive so far:

Other good choices would be the Model Tech Fledgling II ARF or the Sig Kadet 42B EP ARF. Both of these are four-channel aileron trainers that come with a brushless outrunner motor and ESC included and they're both around $160 or so. Your extra investment in either of these aircraft would likely result in more flying power and longer flight times between charges because of the more powerful brushless electronics. You'd simply need to add a 4-channel radio with three mini servos to either of these aircraft along with a LiPo battery and you'd be set.

I had the MiniMag as my second plane and have become a big Multiplex fan ever since (amongst others). They do exactly what they say they will on the tin and with a budget brushless motor you can have a superb plane that flys well and is extremely durable compared to most of the competition and would highly recommend it !!!
When you get used to it you can the increase the throws and move the CoG back to liven the plane up and make it more responsive.

The other to consider may be the Hobbyzone T28 Trojan which looks and flies nicely but just don't think it'll take the same punishment as the MiniMag nor be quite so easy to repair.

go with the parkzone t-28 trojan!! easy to fly, dual rates, big outrunner parts at lhs, awesome all around!!!!!! You wont be disapointed i promise!!
