Beginner - Workshop/Tools/Materials
 

Hey all,
Looking for some advice, if there is a post on this subject could someone kindly point me to it! If not I'm looking to get some information from the old hands. I'm moving soon and the girlfiend has allowed me a whole room to myself! So it will be my workshop (also for my other hobbies). Its not going to be massive (5m x 5m approx). So in the all excitement of it and me getting a model for christmas, I am making a list of what I'll need. So what I'm looking for is a good list for tools, materials and anything else I may need to start! So far I have;

Bench
Knife mat
Knife hobby set
Glue
Mini Drill
Tools? - Pliers, Screwdrivers?
Soldering Gear

If you add to this I would be most appreciative! Or if you could point me to good starter kits for each of the above, this would also be great!

This is my personal field kit/workshop kit. There isn't one tool in it that I don't use almost every time at the field, or off.
