Make sure the servo arm is 90 degrees (square) to the direction of the pushrod when the surface is neutral.

Does the servo move the same degrees in both directions?

I'm not familiar with that transmitter. But if it has adjustable travel, make sure it is set to the same number in both directions (e.g. 120). With JR transmitters, you must move the stick while in the programming mode with the "travel" screen displayed.

RE: servo set up, need help......

lets start out simple....in the case of all the servos except throttle...hook up the servo to it's channel...remove the servo arm.....now with the stick cetered and trim centered...reinstall the servo arm so that the arm is 90 deg centered on the servo......neutral the control surface and adjust the pushrod to hook up between the servo arm and the control horn...in the case of the throttle....as above except you want throttle stick down and throttle trim almost all the way down, up a click or 2...you hook up the servo arm and pushrod so that the carb is closed...make sure the carb opens 1/8 inch with trim.....and the carb open all the way with throttle...adjust as required
Good Flyin to ya

this is what he is talking about, if the pic come through. With every thing on the radio transmitter centered your servo arms should be at 90 degrees like the pic. You may only have on half of the arm shown in the pic and thats fine. If this pic does not come through I'll try again, I am new to posting pic's

sticks

(The problem is not the camera, it's that you're not activating Macro mode I believe. Generally a little flower logo on the button that activates that function.)

It's a must for detailed pictures of plane set up and other things that require a closeup. Half the pictures posted here in RCU have that macro lack issue. Glad I could help.
