Finally... a clean flight.

Finally today my semi-new Avistar taildragger conversion had a great flight!

After spending the time making a super clean conversion, and having only questionably risky take offs and landings, today it finally went off straight and came in beautifully.

I have to say I wasn't piloting these portions of the flight, but at least I know it can be done.

I've only been flying since Sept. 2002, but after stalling (and totaling) my first Avistar, I lost all of my confidence along with it, and since have built a new Avistar which has only gone up several times - with some squirrley risks, but after today, some of that confidence is back, but not all of it.

I can't wait for it all to return.

Have a nice day, ya'll.

It will come back, but after your first crash, you're never the same, you're better!

Finally... a clean flight.

The confidence will certainly come back. And as Minnflyer mentioned, you'll be a better pilot in the end.

My crashes all seem to have happened when I got OVER confident and pushed the plane beyond my abilities. Like low inverted down the runway before I was ready. Only time I've ever seen a plane cartwheel eight times. ;)

Keep at it!
