installing servo on wing

ok so I have an alpha 60 and I am trying to install a new servo on the wing and it just doesn't fit. ...it's the same servo it had before.

Any ideas?

Well, do a little sanding to make it fit, I guess.

I sometimes have to trim them out a little with an exacto knife

If the same servo it must fit. You say same does that mean same manufacturer, like Hitec,Futaba etc? perhaps it's a different model No.that could explain it. Anyway just remove material so it fits. This is model building.

Doesn't fit how? Won't go back in the same opening? Usually you have to thread the wires in first (you did tie a messenger string on the old wiring and tape it off so you could thread the new back in?) and get the stress-relief grommet below the cross-members first and then wiggle the case into place. A tight fit is a good thing.
