DX6I and Slo-V Issues
I'm attempting to add a brushless system to my Slo-V. I've hooked everything up correctly as far as I can tell. Everything binds and works.
This is v-tail plane (obviously) and when turning on the v-tail option it adds the "rudder" on the left stick and puts the "elevator" on the aileron. Anyone know of a way to make the controls feel like a normal 3 channel plane with the rudder and elevator on the right stick? Also, the "rudder" and "elevator" are not because I think people don't know what they are but because they are fictional on this plane. Thanks |

RE: DX6I and Slo-V Issues
Don't use the V tail mix, use the Elevon or Delta wing mix.
V tail puts the rudder on the left and is really intended for a aileron plane that has a V tail, thus putting the rudder on the left. Elevon mix will put both functions on the right stick. just make sure you have V going in the correct direction for rudder effect. This might require using some negative numbers in a menu. I don't have a DX6i, but this is what works on my V tail 3 channel planes on my Futaba radio. |
RE: DX6I and Slo-V Issues
I want to add a brushless motor and a BNF receiver to my slo-v. I want to use the lipo batteries and transmitter from my CX2 Heli. I'm new to this so i need some help. What type of motor, receiver/ESC, and servos will work?
