camera on airplane

Hi - I am looking for an inexpensive camera to mount on my airplane. Any good ones out there?

jimmy james Is a digital camera not to heavy for the plane? I would like to see how you pulled this off and did the plane get off the ground? :)

I just used my wifes digital and put it on video mode. Yep there was H&ll to pay when she saw my final edit for U-Tube and I used her camera. I even put the camera on a R/C boat and went sailing on Lake Ontario.[sm=lol.gif]

I finally bought her a new camera (Nothing wrong with the old one) so she wouldn't have panic attacks anymore. :D Married for 8 years so far... amazing isn't it?

Here is the final cut of that movie that my wife once freaked on.

Yep, my way is the cheapest as long as you don't crash... then I have to pay divorce court fee's, hospital fee's and a new camera.

I've flown with a Nikon 3700 and a Pentax S10 on my planes. Works great.

i just taped the regular digital cam, a older one that takes blah pictures, but ok video, on a .40 sized spad.
i presses the record button before i taped it right behind the engine (brown packing tape).
it worked fine.
i can upload it to youtube if you want, it was windy, and i had never taken a aerial photo before, so it looks like im all over the place even though i was circling.
i have even ziptied the same camera to a gws slowstick (park flyer) and that worked as well (i didnt set it in video mode (cause when its off it defaults to pic mode) before i flew it so i didnt get a video but the camera stayed on)
