Prop question.
I have an OS .46 FXi that I normally run an 11 X 6 on. I just bought a 10 X 6n to try out. I didn't realize it was a 6n. Does this mean narrow? Should I get a standard one? I just wanted to try the 10 X 6 and see what it does. I also have an 11 X 7 to try. This engine is on the new Escapade, and it is MUCH lighter than the Great Planes Cessna that it was on. The Cessna was a bullet with the 11 X 6, but didn't have much vertical ability (too heavy?). I'm pretty new when it comes to props, and normally used the prop in the middle of OS recommendation. What do you think I should use? I'm wanting the plane to be fast, but also have some vertical ability also.

RE: Prop question.
You probably didn't get the vertical you wanted from the cessna because of its weight. I have an 11x7 apc on my mach 2 with a tt.46 and it will go vertically out of sight! The escapade is a similar plane to the mach 2 in its size and layout. Try all the props you got to find the one you like the most on the escapade.

RE: Prop question.
11x6 or 11x7 should be spot on for that engine on the escapade. Really love that plane, want one myself:)

RE: Prop question.
So I am getting that 11x7 is the way to go. So should I take the 10x6n back and get a 10x6 and try it, keep the 10x6n and try it, or stick with the 11x6-7. I have 1 each of those already.

RE: Prop question.
Try it out, unless you need the $4 back.

RE: Prop question.
If you want less speed and more vertical, take that prop back and get a 12x5 to try.

RE: Prop question.
Give an 11X4 a flip too. If you engine will sling a 12 then I would try a 12X4 also. Just for the fun of it
