Spray paint foam? HELP !!!!!
You can use craft paints, or any water based paint. Stay away from anything that lists a solvent on the ingredients.

Spray paint foam? HELP !!!!!
You can paint it with water based paints BUT the extra weight and drag will affect the performace of a small electric, thats why GWS sells them in diferent coloured foams.
Cub's come in a zillion colour schemes why not look on the net for one with the same base colour and just add the details like roundals (British, Canadian, Aussie), tri colour (France, Spain, DDR) etc, etc even the USA is boud to have white ones (your is white?) with stars and bars |
Paints
The "testors" paints from Wal-Mart or wherever are safe for most foams. I used it on the Tiger Moth and Stik wings. Tested on some white foam and it worked.

Spray paint foam? HELP !!!!!
ok i called www.testors.com and the guy to old me to use acrylic paint... now he said that i cannot use spray paint acrylic because of the aerosol will eat the foam... so he suggested this beginner airbrush kit for $14 it is a military aircraft kit that comes with light grey, dark grey, drab green, and black... i ordered the kit should be here in a few days... i think im going to go with black..
you can check the kit out here http://www.testors.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=1551 or if you like bright colors look at ths kit.... http://www.testors.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=1550 not a bad price for the whole shot including paint...... |
Testors
The stuff I use is the Spray Enamel, Just tested it on a scrap peace of white foam, no problems, even made a puddle .
