help!
pt-40mkii)
Big problem the nylon steering arm for the front wheel sits just behind my Evolution .46NT engine it is hitting the high speed needle valve that is mounted on the rear of the engine. HELP! |
RE: help!
Move the engine forward if you can.
You may also be able to remove the needle valve assembly and remote it, like mount it on the firewall or something. Best thing, though, is to push the engine forward a bit. CGr |
RE: help!
If you could post a pic it would be a tremendous help.

RE: help!
thanks CGRetired did not know that I could move it.
I fixed the needle valve problem instead of two bolts holding on the bracket I moved the bracket over and secured it with one bolt now the needle valve is hanging out the side of the fuselage had to put a longer piece of tubing on it. It looks a little funny but it makes it very easy to adjust. |
RE: help!
You can also unscrew the entire needle valve assembly and screw it directly into the carb where they always used to be before the Safety Gestapo got involved.
