New to Planes?

I have just switched to planes a few days ago and I was wondering what is the best electric plane for beginers? I would like it to be a ducted fan jet but Im not sure which one I should buy?

Any help?

Thanks, Chris

RE: New to Planes?

A ducted fan jet is not a good trainer for someone new to R/C Aircraft flying, they are fast and touchy on the controls. I started on a 3 Channel Electric Art-Tech Wing Dragon from Hobby Lobby.

Any of these will work well, take a look.

There are many good electric trainers on the market other than Hobby Lobby. Give it a year or two in flying a trainer... then you have a better chance of keeping your new Ducted Fan Jet in one piece when you get it. JMHO

Here is the only ducted fan that I know of that is good for beginners:

Funny you mention that plane. I just sold mine two hours ago.

RE: New to Planes?

If you want something similar to an edf, but a little cheaper to keep flyin, try the Parkzone Stryker F27C. Its not really a beginner plane either, and it is FAST at full throttle. But it will fly slow fairly well and if you're set on a jet type plane, this might be a cheaper option to learn on. Not as cheap as the Diablo, but cheaper than most other EDFs.
