Whats the differance between outboard and inboard elec motors for airplanes? I was thinking of getting a brushless motor but they say outboard on them. What dose that mean?

What you are talking about is outrunner and inrunner.

The outrunner has the shaft tied to the outer case and the outer case spins.

The inrunner has the shaft tied to the core and the core spins.

Usually you get more torque with the outrunners, and the prop goes directly onto the shaft, where inrunners usually have higher rpm's so they are incorperated into a gear drive.

You may want to go through the electric aircraft forums. That should answer most of your questions as they crop up.
