Perfect plane for small space but handles wind? Does it EXIST?

Right now I have a slowstick on floats for some common ground behind my house. Works pretty darn well, but it flys about as big as you can get away with for the space (about 3/4 acre open area, surrounded by trees).

I was wondering if there are any other planes that might work well, but have more flight fun. I can climb out of the tree height to do some fun manuevers, but it needs to be able to calm down for landing.

I tried an apprentice 15e first that flew a little too big for the area. I had to climb above the trees an only fly above them.

again I don't know if it exists. I'm sure I could get a light foamy that you fly in a gym, but I could only fly it 2 days a month due to winds. I'm wondering if there's a plane that would be able to fly small but hanlde a 8pm wind?

Thanks
TIm

That looks pretty similar in flight charecteristics to what the apprentice was like. I think it may be a little big for the area

I should specify, it can be ANY kind of plane, as I can put floats on it. So a sport or scale etc.

Thanks
Tim

Or one of these: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHCN9&P=FR

Mine flies great in the wind. 35 MPH top speed, and have flown it in 30 MPH winds with 40 MPH gusts. Almost lost it one time because the wind was blowing faster than the plane could fly. Luckily there was a short drop in the wind, and I got her back.

Get a wild hawk and soup it up. It's indestructible. At this point I'm trying to destroy it, but I can't. It will float beautifully, or, if you opt to put a monster motor in it, will rip through the sky.

Get a hobbyzone Super Cub and throw in a 1500mAh 11.1v 20c Rhino lipo battery from hobbycity.com ($20) . It will take off from the bed of a truck and almost land in it. Mine will take off from the hood of my truck and climb almost straight up with everything stock except battery. 8mph wind is pushing the limits with a stock battery, but no problem with the lipo, floats would probably help it in the wind. It will fly inverted also, not easily, but it will do it. Want to fly inverted easily or do aerobatics, upgrade the radio and add ailerons! Very tough and versital plane!

On the Super cub...since you already have the radio; servos etc..... some guys just buy the replacement parts and build their own. Rich
