Tiger 2?
I wanted to know if they made a [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXH755&P=7]Tiger 2[/link] in electric?
Thanks, Chris |
RE: Tiger 2?
There doesn't appear to be an electric version, but it'd be simple to do.
The electric motor mounts are just as usable as the fuel engine mounts. And there are plenty of motors that'd suit the airplane. I've just been helping a buddy build an electric Kadet. It's actually a glowfuel designed one that we're making up with electric. Ain't no big deal. |
RE: Tiger 2?
Oh yeah, it's a Kadet LT-40.
We're actually making the motor mount from plywood. Bridging the cheek pieces with the ply for the motor to stick through. The mount actually makes the nose stronger. The size batteries needed for the size motor needed almost comes up to the weight of a glow engine. |
