I am looking for recomendations on a first plane

I am looking to get into electric planes however there are so many brands and types that I am a bit overwhelmed. I have Been messing around with R/C cars for awhile. Recently Got into 450 size helicopters. I have also gotten quite competent with planes on aero fly pro delux. I want to stick with electric. I have all the charging equipment and a number of 2000Mah+ 3s lipos. Consequently I would like to get a plane that can use the same batteries that I already have. I already have a radio as well. I enjoy to build things so its ok if its in a kit however it does not have to be. I would like the wingspan to be around 50 inches or larger. I would like it to come with an ESC and Motor. I really like the way that Corsairs look so one of those would be cool. I hope that you guys can point me in the right direction.

If you use the trainer box, and an instructor I think the Parkzone t-28 or Corair would be fine to learn on. The trojan is easier to land if you use gear on the corsair, but I just land my corsair on grass.

A warbird is not an excelent choice for a first plane, hobbico has a couple of electric choices (trainers) that will lead you to start the right way into the hobby.

I figure that I can fly helicopters (I understand that these operate differently however helicopters are far more complex to fly) and the simulator so a trainer is not quite so necessary.

what about something like this with an electric power supply?

I am wondering if I could do something like that with a 3s? I know that I could never do a 550 or 600 helicopter on a 3s however I am not familiar with the power requirements of electric planes.
