INFO NEEDED spad for the beginner
 

i was wondering what your opinions are, i just started in the hobby, i like the RTF, and ARF kits, but i would like to build one, i've built models for 15+ years, so is it much different than building regular models, or not, and what kind of kit would be good to start, i would like to find a .60 P-51 mustang to build for later use, but i just want to get my feet wet, spending as little as possible. open for suggestions.

Well a good place to start is the SPAD forum here on RCU

and also the SPAD site for plans etc www.spadtothebone.com there are plans for trainers, general sport planes, slope gliders and stand off scaleish including a P51 or 2

aslo SPAD's do not come in a "kit" as you know it , either you find the material yourself or you can get material packs on te Spadtothebone ARF page
