inverted engine quit

whats up? i have an avistar with a os 40la. right after i do loop, the engine almost quits or quits. i know i didn't make the clunker hose too long but i did notice that the hose was thicker than the one i had before. i'm thinking that it might not be as flexable with it being a short length. another thing is the muffler, where the two pieces come together, it leaks quite a bit of oil there. i'm wondering if it might be loosing pressure. i've also heard that it could be the gas foaming from vibration.i'm going to replace the clunker hose, seal up the muffler, and try to dampen the vibration. has anybody had this problem? am i missing anything?

are you to lean? , on ground hold the airplane vertical (engine up) at full throttle if the engine starts to loose rpm's then your to lean

ok, i'll check if it's too lean like you said. your talking about the regular adjustment with knob, not the one with the screw right?

I had a similar issue, and it turned out that I had the clunk line and my fueling/de-fueling line switched so when the plane went inverted, the fuel was not being picked up.
