Now i am very interested in collecting the airplanes, but as the main reason is that it costs me much, any better way to collect the airplanes.

build a kit. you can do it a little at a time, and spread the cost out a little. It took me 2 years to complete my last model. Good luck!

When you say collect I'm not too sure exactly what you mean. Collect kits, models of war birds, ARFs??
As a kid I used to collect airplanes but they were the small plastic model airplanes and Ionly collected Bipes. Even with that my bedroom shelves were full. I have noticed that plastic models are making a come back at a number of hobby stores and ebay.

I've actually seen quite a few good restorations of planes pulled out of the trash. Some people that have the time see it as a challenge and love to show off their almost free airplanes.

if you just want to collect. get kits. some have 20+ kits that they havnt build (and most likely ever will)
