Beginner Plane Electric

Hello all,
I seem to have some interest lately in trying my luck with a plane. My love is for heli's and that's what I fly. I would want something slow maybe not real easy. I kind of get a kick out of "realflight sim" when it comes to planes but I never ever in my life have flown one. I'm thinking slower cause I really don't fly nutsy. I don't want to grow out of it too fast either. Don't want something I have to spend a whole lot of time on cause I don't how often or how addicting this will become. Ispend a lot of time with my heli's.I like the bi-planes but they seem very touchy on the sim as opposed to a single plank. I know there are a lot of suggestions here for beginners but thought I would get some more thoughts on my particular situation. Definitely electric, RTF, 2.4 and fairly easy to put back together. I think I can handle the4 Channels. Do they make or would someone recommend something I should be looking at? Thanks for any input on this, I've been thinking about it for a while now and I have the feeling I'll be pulling the trigger soon.

let's see something slow.. hmm the best one probably is "Slowstick", but continue practicing on sims as well. you can also try the Supercub or the Easy Star.

check wattflyer.com they are more about electrics and may have a section that deals with the type of plane you are looking for....

My beginner electric was/is the T-28 Trojan. This was after learning on a NexStar nitro though. Since you mentioned the Sim, download one from the Knifeedge site and see what you think. They're fun to fly through intermediate level and forgiving, but a handful to land in wind over 5-6 like most foamies.

sims will definitely help you with the reflex. t-28 trojan is a good heli. but for design and functionality wise, i'd go for the [link=http://www.twift.com/RC%20Toys%20&%20Hobby/TW748%20F4U%20Corsair%20-%20Warplane%20RC%20Plane.html]F4U corsair[/link]

T-28 is a "plane" and is a little easier to see, easier to fly, and easier to land than the F4U. Both very good planes, but I would recomend the T-28 first.
